Monday Resist....

Sometimes I resist getting out of bed on Monday......
but I did and here is a cute card for Monday's card challenge:

The mermaid is from Flora & Fauna, under the sea set.
The shark, clam, octopus is from Lawn Fawn little mini sets....
The saying is from ColorPlay domestic goddess set....

Layers!

Here is a card that was inspired by a card in "CARDS" magazine, but of course when I went back to find it I can't locate it in my stack of magazines...ugh, if I come across it again I will edit this post with the information!!
But it has lots of layering as you have to build each little camera....I just love this card, it will go on my Hall of Fame board in my craft room.....

Monday challenge.....Tag!
I was having fun with my cat stamp, I came across a technique of rolling the paper back and highlighting an image, how fun is that?
I am getting more aggressive with layering too, the more the merrier, right?
I like how she turned out, and the rolled paper flower makes this tag standout....

Wednesday....Sentiment

Here is a fun shaker card with a big sentiment: Hello!

I used Mama Elephant does amigos bunny, and Simon Says Stamp hello die.

PaperArtsy is having a challenge..

So the challenge for PaperArtsy.com is ATC....Artist Trading Card....

So here is the one I came up with, using a blingy little fox, a tree diecut, cut from faux leather, and some water colored background paper I made....I hope I can win the challenge, I will get a PaperArtsy apron if I do!

Monday: Birds of a feather!

Wow, I just made two cards with birds on them over the weekend!
So what a perfect challenge for Monday!

I used Art Impressions bird & psalm stamp:

I layered on washi tape  for the base of the card...gotta use up some scrapbook supplies to make room to buy more!! Hee-hee!! I like the look!

I will save the other bird card for another time, plus my sister reads my blogs and I want some of her swap cards to be a surprise!

Wednesday Patterned Paper

I took the die from Tim Holtz Butterfly and made a 3-d butterfly with patterned paper, then added more patterned paper, so this is a great card for this challenge!

Monday winter blues....

It is not winter long enough here to get the blues, I love living in Las Vegas...it is still nice and warm outside, but it does get chilly in the morning and at night....

Wednesday...Something new.....

I am in a card swap with my sister, I have to make 12 cards by Feb.1 for our swap...we will be meeting up in California for scrapbook weekend in San Diego,

Oh I can't wait...but at least I have cards to make to keep me busy!
