Wednesday SSS challenge...Anything goes!

I think on the anything goes challenges I will always make a coffee card!
I have acquired many coffee themed sets so here goes:

and the cat is from Taylor Expressions.

Monday SSS challenge..Flower Power

I joined Ink Road Stamps little stamp of the month club and Spellbinders Die of the month club, just to boost my inventory a little...both are under 10.00 so it's not a huge out put..I got both my April items this week, so I put together this card which just so happens works well for Flower Power challenge on Simon Says Stamp site......

Coffee and books from Ink Road Stamps and The flower dies are from Spellbinders.

I used zig markers to lightly color the girl and her iced coffee! Enjoy!

I am just loving these cactus stamps!

Here are some from Pink & Main, I love that they have the dies so you don't have to fussy cut all the cacti out!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday...Sparkle and shine

Almost missed Wednesday Challenge again...I need to get on the ball here!

I have the IndigoBlu stamp, George or Georgette if you make him a girl!

He/she is wearing a crown and has some sparkle added for flair, I think this would make a cute baby girl card!

Monday Challenge...Doodle

Monday at Simon Says Stamp....doodle, doodling....

I used a card from Suzy's doodle prints that I colored with my zig markers....

I put a little instant pack of coffee inside for a special treat....

Wednesday Challenge..Texture

Whew, I forgot to post last wednesdays card...the theme was texture....

I made this coffee cup card, and I added nuvo drops for some added "texture"

How fun is that!

The cup stamp is from CTMH and the saying is from Stampinup.

The Color Throwdown #488

This week's colors are Green, Yellow and Aqua.

I had just received Hero Arts April kit and it had these fabulous little inks that blend, so I took the teal and yellow and went to town blending a nice yellow, green, aqua background. I grabbed the Flora and Fauna stamp set-under the sea and colored some images, cut them out and popped them on the card, I tore a little piece of paper and colored it to look like sand, I really like how this card turned out. the banner stamp is from the April Hero art kit as well and the little "Time to relax" stamp came from a random set with no name....

Mythology/Inspired By A Story Monday Challenge

Simon says stamp challenge is really cool this week...

A card that is inspired by a myth, fable, story.

I love the Aesop's fables, so I went with the "Fox and the grapes" fable.

A very thirsty fox was trying to get to some grapes but he just could not reach them, he finally gave up and said "those grapes were probably sour anyway!
The lesson is : just becuase you don't get what you want does not mean what you wanted was not any good. Don't bad mouth something you can't have.

I used the Fiskars wine stamp set and the fox came from Colorplay stamp set.
I colored the grapes and fox with alcohol markers then I watercolored in the background with blue.

I hope you liked today's card and I hope you learned a nice little lesson about being happy with what you have and not talking bad about what you don't have.

They turned 9!

I played with ink and water and then added the medallion stencil from Simon Says Stamp.
The birthday saying is from their "Best Ever" stamp set.
